Blood & Organ Donation Awareness Camps

Every year; Sharon Society organizing at least two camps with the medicinal support of JIPMER, Pondicherry, one of the revered institutions in Medical Sciences across the country and EATON Private Limited OR Food Corporation of India (PCI), Puducherry with the onetime financial support at the end of the year. So far around 30-35 camps were organized and around 700-800 unit blood collected during the camps.

Free Medical Camps 2019-20

Vasanvi Vanitha Ladies Club & Sharon:
In the month of July (7.07/2019) a medical camp was organized by Vasavi Vanitha Ladies Club at Pushpagandhi Home for Age Centre. The main objective of the camp was to interact with geriatric population from Kurunji Nagar, Lawspet Community and create awareness about elder’s health related issues. During the camp around 66 community people participated

VISION Eye Care Hospital & Sharon:
On 11th April, 2019, a blood donation camp was organized by Sharon in association with in association with VISION Eye Care Hospital, Puducherry for disabled / special children at Sharon Special School. during the camps around 25 children/adults with disabilities were participated. after detailed analysis free glasses were also distributed

JIPMER BLOOD BANK & Sharon:
On 25th April, 2019, a free eye checkup camp was organized by the Sharon Society in association with JIPMER, Puducherry. during the camps around 231 volunteers / staff were participated and around 66 unit blood donated.
