Environment Awareness Programs

Every year we are conducting various activities to protect our nature and its resources. We had organized several sapling plantation event, herbal garden exhibitions, Ozone Day celebrations with School / College students etc.

Restoration of Water Bodies under “JAL SAKTHI ABHIYAN” was our most successful event. In 2019 we raise the issue of 100 years old pond which is 10000 sq.ft near ECR Road opposite to Raja Rajeswari Thirumana Mandapam covered by thorny bushes and shrubs. Our Founder took this matter to the Authorities and got permission to clean the pond. On 21st August 2019 the event was conducted to clean the pond with the help of 12 NSS Students from Women’s Polytechnic College, Lawspet, 35 students from Sri Ramakrishna Vidhyalaya Secondary School, 15 staff from Oulgaret Municipality and 20 Community Volunteers from that area. During the event public representatives Mr. K. Vengatesan (MLA), Dr. T. Arun (District Collector), Mr.Malar Kannan (Director of local administration) Mr. Kandhasamy (Commissioner of Oulgaret Municipality) Mr. Gunasegaren (EE Oulgaret) & Mrs. Vidhya Ramkumar (DLCC Chairperson) were present.

Progress Report under Dream Project Build home for Elderly Widows and Destitute women

This year 2018-19; we had started foundation work of our dream project – build home for elderly widows and destitute women in Puducherry with the support of our donors, volunteers, & well whishes. Now the foundation level work has completed.
